FieldLens Privacy Policy

FieldLens is a local-first sensor utility by Tejai Tech. The app is designed to help you understand readings from sensors available on your phone.

Data FieldLens Uses

Depending on device support and permissions, FieldLens may process microphone audio levels, speaker/tone response, accelerometer and gyroscope readings, magnetometer readings, ambient light readings, barometer readings, approximate location for reports, timestamps, saved scan reports, and app preferences.

Local-First Storage

Saved reports and preferences are stored on your device unless you choose to export or share a report. FieldLens does not use your sensor data for advertising.

Microphone and Sensor Use

Microphone access is used for sound analysis, tone verification, and related educational flows. FieldLens is not intended to record conversations or diagnose hearing, health, safety, RF, or environmental exposure conditions.

Location

If you grant location permission, FieldLens may include GPS coordinates in exported reports so you can distinguish scans captured at different places. You can deny location permission and still use core app features.

Sharing and Export

When you export a PDF or share a report, you control the destination. Shared files may contain date, time, location if granted, device stamp, readings, scores, findings, and notes.

Children

FieldLens is educational and exploratory, but it is not directed to children under 13. Young users should use it with appropriate adult guidance, especially for sound and tone flows.
